2. Collection and storage of personal data and the type and purpose of their use
When you access our website www.brix-hansel.de, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

1 lit. a of the GDPR, - The disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f of the GDPR, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,
- There is a legal obligation to disclose data, in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c of the GDPR, or
- Disclosure is legally permissible and necessary for the performance of a contract with you, in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b of the GDPR.
4. Data subject rights
You have the right:
- Under Article 15 of the GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. Specifically, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data (if it was not collected from you), and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, along with meaningful information about the details of such processes;
- Under Article 16 of the GDPR, to request the rectification of inaccurate or the completion of your personal data stored by us without delay;
- Under Article 17 of the GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for fulfilling a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
- Under Article 18 of the GDPR, to request the restriction of processing of your personal data, if the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose its erasure, or we no longer need the data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or if you have objected to the processing in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR;
- Under Article 20 of the GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another data controller;
- Under Article 7(3) of the GDPR, to withdraw your consent at any time. This will result in the cessation of any data processing based on this consent in the future; and
- Under Article 77 of the GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Typically, you may contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence, your workplace, or our office’s location for this purpose.
5. Right to Object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, if there are reasons arising from your particular situation, or if the objection is directed at direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without the need to specify a particular situation. 6. Data Security
We use the widely used SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser during your visit to our website. In most cases, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a specific page of our website is transmitted via encryption can be recognized by the closed padlock or key symbol in the lower status bar of your browser. We also implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continually improved in accordance with technological developments.
